Sweet Haunnah! This girl couldn't get any sweeter or more adorable if she tried! I learned very quickly that she wasn't SUPER excited to be taking her senior photos {in fact, her younger sister was ready to jump in front of the camera instead!} but once we got her a bit more comfortable Haunnah really opened up :) The best thing to make Haunnah laugh and smile? Her dad! Just get dad onto set and have him look at her and she starts giggling. We were constantly yelling for dad to come back and stop wandering off! I've heard that Haunnah's signature look is flannel {which we started in} but then I was very excited to get her into a beautiful blue sweater and a stunning DRESS for the final sunset shots. We had one killer location with amazing light and an amazing sky-to add to it we had a beautiful girl and with all the forces combined, excellence was achieved! Congrats to Haunnah for her upcoming high school graduation from Tarpon Spring High School and her continued excelling in the high school band playing the oboe. You go girl!
Catia! Class of 2016 and a soon to be volleyball player at Furman College in South Carolina! Congrats-you go girl! I was so excited to be shooting Catia's senior photos as this is the second member of this family I've done photographs for. Her younger sister Dani is a model/actress in the bay area and I had the opportunity to shoot her headshots and portfolio images at the beginning of the year. I must say, this is one gorgeous family! I knew Catia would be stunning and know how to work the camera too-I was right! I love that we got so many different looking photos during her session. Catia requested the beach and I knew going to Redington Pier would give us the opportunity to shoot at a few different places that gave us some variety. It was a gorgeous night with a stunning sky, and even though it got chilly towards the end, this gal never stopped smiling! Congrats again and I wish you the best of luck with your schooling and volleyball! :)
This week I had the honor of photograhing my little brother's senior {whoa...senior!?!} photos! Time has flown by and all of a sudden he will be out of high school in one short year! I still remember him as the spunky 8 year old who was always making everyone laugh. He still makes me laugh, and me makes me so proud too! Throughout high school Andrew has participated in the Leadership Conservatory for the Arts (marching band and concert band) and also varsity soccer. With band he had the opportunity to travel to New York City his sophmore year to play in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and also became "Bands of America Grand National Champions" for the first time in Tarpon Springs High School's history in Indianapolis his junior year. During his photo session I really wanted to capture the essence of what makes Andrew, "Andrew." He is an athlete, a musician, and also your typical teenage boy who likes a good laugh. I'm grateful to have had the chance to capture these all in a photograph and also call him my little bro <3
Meet Allysa and Ashley! Allysa is a high school senior at Tarpon Spring High School who will be graduating in just a few short weeks!! She has been accepted into University of North Florida and will be starting there in the fall...congrats to you, Allysa!! :) We shot her session as the sun was going down and captured some amazing photos of this beautiful girl. With piercing blue eyes and a gorgeous big smile, its no surprise that she looks so stunning with the sunset light hitting her just right! Ashley just graduated from USF is is proud to be DONE with school! She worked hard and made it happen...I know the feeling! She is now on to the real world :) I loved that their little brother came along to the session. He was finishing up middle school and decided that he was kinda graduating too. How cute! Congrats to all of them!
Take a look at Samantha's senior session!! We had such a great time shooting and we are all so proud of her for hanging in there for three hours after starting before the sun came up! I got the original phone call from Samantha's older sister, Jen, telling me she wanted to book the session. The best part of this scenario is that she called me the second they got home from her school senior pictures and knew that they wanted something a bit different! How fun :) We even included a cap and gown shot as some foreshadowing of the amazing future to come for this beautiful young lady! We finished up the session with a few family shots and I just love how cute they look all smooshed together! So happy to have met you all-keep up the great work, Samantha!!
Meet Brianna!! A high school senior who came to us after already having had her school "senior pictures" done but wanted something a little bit more "awesome" :) Ok, so I made up the awesome part...but nonetheless she wanted something more!! We started out in the studio, a bit tense and nervous with all the lights on, so we moved outside and BAM! This gal came alive!! She worked the camera and flashed that gorgeous smile and alllll the fears faded away! We had the opportunity to spend the evening with her and her mother, both incredibly nice people :) And I must add-that hair!! Amazing.
High school senior, Amber!! Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to be at this photo session, but Amber was in great hands with my husband Clint who took the wheel on photography, directing and FUN!! :) I made it back to catch the tail end of the session and I'm so glad that I was able to meet Amber and her mom...what nice people they are! I love these natural light portraits and the spark in Amber's eyes, a perfect combination I'd say! Since the session I've had the opportunity to work with Amber many times as she is interested in photography and has become my "on call" assistant. I love her presence! What a sweet heart she is <3
What can I say about Nicole, except DANG CAN THIS GIRL SMILE!!!! We had so much fun with Nicole, laughing smiling and cracking jokes the whole time. Her big white smile lights up a room and even overpowers the sun! Yes..its that bright! :D We got a very broad range of images from this shoot, from simple and cute, to down right sexy! Nicole will be competing for Maxim's hometown hottie, be sure to find her and vote!
When Tracy asked us to shoot we were super pumped! It has been a little while since we have gotten to shoot our first love, FASHION! She came with some amazing looks and we had so much fun creating several unique and edgy shots. These images are so different from what we have been shooting lately, and I'm so happy with how they turned out. Just look at those PEEPERS! Tracy has some seriously awesome features :) Glad we finally got to get together!
WOW! Where to begin with young Brittany. This 14 year old beauty impressed the pants off of me during our shoot!!! This is her first time EVER posing in front of a professional camera, and let me tell you..she is a natural! Any direction I gave her she was able to follow perfectly, and look at that hair! I'm slightly jealous of the gorgeous red :) I know that this gal is going to go far and I'm so happy I was able to give her a big push for her start!! Go shine and rock this world!
